Hi, my name is Melissa Moran, I'm a bridal hairstylist living and working in the west of Ireland. I feel so privileged to have a job that I really love and that gives me such variety everyday. I love being creative and helping people look and feel amazing. My passion is bridal hair and the whole buzz and excitement that comes with the morning of the wedding as the brides whole look comes together.
Working closely with photographers, stylists and make-up artists on editorials, photoshoots and fashion shows means that I'm always immersed in current trends and I try to bring that to every wedding. I believe it is key for bridal hairstyles to photograph beautifully from all angles and remain perfectly in place throughout the entire day. I have a big focus on beautifully simple hair and have spent years researching the right products and tools that are needed to create this. I really believe the key to great hair is in the prep and that is why I always take my time with each bride so that I can figure out how to achieve exactly what they want.
By trusting me to do what I love I believe that we can create something really beautiful for your wedding day. I love contemporary bridal hairstyles where effortless, softly textured hair wins.
I am based in Mayo/Galway but travel all over Ireland and overseas so please get in touch if you are getting married and are interested in a booking.

When I for my trial she had prepared some sketches combining the elements of the styles I liked, the trial took around an hour and she absolutely nailed the look I wanted first time round.
